katy byers, the creator of katybug handmade, turns reincarnated fabrics into reinterpreted designs suited for today's kitchen. whether with repurposed found treasures or her own new designs, katy seeks to recall those summer days where cooking is an all day affair and the table is open to old and new friends. katybug is an early nickname affectionaely used by her father around the house growing up in georgia. her early inspirations for katybug came during her time in brooklyn, new york, where vintage looks abound, and now sunny southern california continues to splash her eye with new color possibilitites to add to the mix.
